Family Credit Services

Let’s Bring Back the American Middle Class!!!

We Will Make Sure You Can Afford an IRA for Your ChildLet Family Credit Services help you become debt-free.  Are you swimming in debt?  Are you unable to maintain all of your loan payments?  Have you been considering refinancing your home?  Have you lost your home, due to a foreclosure or too much debt?  If so, Family Credit Services can help you regain control of your finances.

On February 18, 2009, President Obama announced the “Making Home Affordable Program” (MHA).  It’s designed to help as many as 7-9 million families avoid foreclosures, by restructuring or refinancing their mortgages. In doing so, the plan helps responsible homeowners, behind on their payments or at risk of defaulting, regain control of their finances.  It also prevents the downfall of many neighborhoods and communities threatened by the defaults and foreclosures contributing to falling home values, failing local businesses, and lost jobs.

Our legal staff and lawyers specialize in loan modification.  Through a forensic loan audit, we can reduce your payments on all the debt you owe.  Less interest means you could reinvest in a new home, at a reasonable price that you CAN afford.

We Will Make Sure You Can Afford Your Childs 1st CarTax relief measures will correct the prior, unfair circumstance our country has faced, with laws that allowed lenders to give loans to consumers they knew they wouldn’t be able to repay them in any kind of timely manner.  New laws will tax only those whose sale of their home yields gains of more than $250,000/$500,000, as well as those unfortunate sellers who’ve seen the value of their property decline.

The rules that now relieve consumers, by facilitating the cancellation of indebtedness, should greatly increase the sale of homes, especially in areas where home prices have declined and foreclosures have occurred.

Let Family Credit Services fight for your rights, as a consumer!  Take back your financial freedom!  Our Forensic Audit Specialists can have results for you in as little as seven days!  What bank or lender will do that for you?

Our legal staff knows how the law and ignorance of the law can be crippling, for consumers.  Many people may not know that on November 17, 2008, HUD published a new, final rule to Simplify and Improve the Process of Obtaining Mortgages, as well as Reduce Consumer Settlement Costs.  This rule mandates the use of a new Good Faith Estimate (GFE) and HUD-1, which went into effect January 1, 2010.

Meanwhile, a lender will sometimes forgive some portion of a borrower’s debt. The general tax rule that applies to any debt forgiveness is that the amount forgiven is treated as taxable income, to the borrower. Some exceptions to this rule have been available.  But until very recently, when a lender forgave some portion of a mortgage debt (i.e. “short sales,” foreclosures and “workouts”), the borrower was required to pay tax on the debt forgiven. A new law, enacted in December 2007, provides relief to financially challenged borrowers, when some portion of the mortgage debt is forgiven. That relief expires on December 31, 2012.
